Speed Camp Testamonial
My main man Rich, Hope all is well, and you liked your little gift the girls send you! Season just finished, and boy what a season it was. Yeah the wins weren’t what I wanted but as a whole it was beyond a success!! The whole program got turned around; our stats were eye popping different. Like I had mentioned we went from 1 goal, to having a freshman be the second leading goal scorer in the league, and one of my seniors breaking a single season and school record in assists!!! Not bad considering there was no action at the front of goal last year. As far as games, last year the defense allowed a ridiculous 90 goals against in 18 games and we brought that number down to 39!!!! Which I was very happy about, there was 11-0 games 7-0 9-0 a couple of 8's last year, the biggest difference this year was 3 !!!! As you can see the whole identity of the girls program has changed for the better. 4 times we lost heartbreakers in overtime, which could have went either way and 7 times we won the second half. This brings me to YOU!!!!!!!!! I truly believe your training contributed to that. That is an amazing accomplishment, I mean I can’t put it into words that coaches dream of their team going out and playing strong for 80 minutes, especially in the second half, where your legs and brain just don’t agree, and here we were 65-70th minute scoring goals!!! Not once but 7 times, did we lose? Yes, because we didn’t take care the first half, but it was a learning process, in the second half last year the game was already done finished this year we were pushing for a victory. My next challenge is now to play a complete game, finish the first half and have the mind set, lungs, legs, speed to be disciplined for the second half! I got a lot of compliments from coaches and even parents saying "wow this team just doesn’t give up" or” there in good shape" and I always referred them back to you!! Words can’t describe how thankful I am and how much you have done and I want to thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. Also this whole winter they will be hitting the gym. And keep up with their strength routine. They have done an excellent job with their diet, I mean to the point that its funny, how they pick and chose foods and it’s in their mind. Every away game we had turkey subs or Italian or ham or roast beef after the game, and bananas or apples or granola bars. Before 3 games we had a spaghetti dinner! I kept at it and at it. And now it’s in their heads and they like it, we never stopped at McDonalds (well duh) that is a big no, and were the only team in one tournament we went that had 5 coolers of nothing but good stuff when we sat under out tents. You saw other teams eating pizza and hot dogs and there we were with all the stuff you had wrote down!!!! So I’m glad that there disciplined with that. Dino

I recently graduate from Hershey High School and I'm furthering my education at West Virginia University. I was a three sport athlete and in all three sports, a captain my senior year. I plan to walk on the baseball team at WVU after turning down three D1 offers to Lafayette, Rider, and Fairleigh Dickinson, as well as multiple D2 and D3 offers.
I came to Rich because I needed to become faster, stronger, and stabalize my core. After training with him in the fall and winter before my senior season for baseball, I saw some very positive results. I was selected as a Mid-Penn allstar for the third year in a row and finished third in central PA in ERA. Rich's emphasis on core strength helped add three miles per hour to my fastball. This also helped double my strikeout total from my junior year. I had more power at the plate. I hit four homeruns and constantly hit the ball hard.
Rich is well educated in strength training and has all the resources to fit your needs. He is very enthusiastic and pushes his client to become stronger. He mixes the strength training with flexibility to improve your performance level. With Rich's help, I was able to fulfill my dream of receiving a D1 scholarship offer for baseball. His work will aid me as I try out for the baseball team at WVU.

I played soccer for 17 years, snow boarded for 8 years and wake boarded for 3 years. I have played soccer for many different club teams; including Super Nova, FC Delco and LDC United. I played all for years of High School soccer at Lower Dauphin High School and then went on to play another 4 years at Elizabethtown College.
I have been throught many different fitness trainers through club, high school and college teams. After finishing out my college career, I joined a league at Lanco Fieldhouse and that is when I tore my ACL in my right leg. I underwent surgery and continued into physical therapy at Drayer to get myself back walking again.
Finishing up physical therapy, I took a month off to recuperate and then looked into strengthening my body again after being inactive for quite a bit. I thought about joining a gym and trying to work with myself in getting back , but wanted to do it right so I would not have to go through something like this again. I talked to Rich and he set up a routine starting the beginning of November to target the areas that I wanted to work on and strengthen.
The variety of exercises that I go through really work the areas that are weak and help re-strengthen. After about a month through the program , I feel a lot better than I did a month ago, but am going to continue with the program to keep strengthening my body and get ready to play soccer once again.
I would definitely recommed Rich to anyone who really wants to drive themselves to become more fit and stronger!

Soccer
Hi My name is Rosie Kays and I am a 17 year old soccer player. I play soccer at the High School level, at the Club level for PA Classics, and was a five-year member of the EPA ODP program. I plan on continuing my soccer career at either Neumann University or La Salle University.
In order to prepare myself for the collegiate game I knew that I needed to seriously start training with a Strength Coach. Rich was the easy choice for me. I already knew him from when I had rehabilitated an injury at Drayer and we got along well. Choosing Rich as a trainer is a decision that I made without a doubt in my mind; and I have no regrets! He has helped me achieve many of the short and long-term goals that I have set for myself. In the two years I have been working with him, I have become much stronger physically and mentally from the intense workouts.
My speed, agilty, and quickness have all improved and I anticipate will continue with further work. Rich allows me to tell him withat I want to work on and builds a program with exercises best suited to set me up for success.
Working out with Rich was a great decision and is something that I plan to continue when I am home from college.

In September of 2006, I tore my ACL and had reconstructive surgery. After several months of physical therapy, I began training with Rich to rebuild my strength. Prior of my injury, I was a dedicated athlete who prided myself on my strength and stamina. I was devastated when I realized how much of athleticism I had lost after my surgery. Through working with Rich, I quickly realized that my strength was not lost forever. Rich’s program was very intensive and challenging, targeting every muscle in my body, and enormously prepared me to return to the field. Without Rich’s training, I could not have made as speedy of a recovery as I did, and I would not have stepped back onto the field with the confidence that I was as strong as I had ever been. I am so grateful to Rich’s training and greatly accredit his work to all of my athletic accomplishments after my surgery.
Chrissy currently studying and playing field hockey at Amherst.
Rich's Speed and Agility team training has been a rewarding experience for the LD Lizards team on and off the field for the last 2 years. We've appreciated his willingness to meet us at the fields and work with the team. The players have benefited from his training as a team and as individuals. His individual attention to players with injuries was over and above. The players kept motivated by Rich's exercise challenges between sessions. His interested in the team beyond just the training aspect is appreciated by all. We highly recommend Rich's Speed and Agility training to any team.

No sport; I like to be able to hike, bike, and be active especially when we go on vacations Have not previously worked regularly with a personal trainerFemaleSince January, 2008 Preconceptions and previous “get in shape” attempts: As I’ve gotten older, different body parts have rebelled and hindered my ability to stick to a fitness program. Examples include my lower back, right knee, left shoulder, and my flat feet.I knew I couldn’t work with a trainer with a standard approach. Rich takes into account my physical ability and status, and also works with improving my core strength which helps avoid exercise injuries. Also, having regular appointments greatly increases my consistency with keeping fit as I am vulnerable to skipping exercise when life gets busy. Rich is thoughtful, supportive, and a lot of fun. He is always looking for ways to push the envelope without truly going beyond my ability. I appreciate that I feel better and am stronger. Without question, I highly recommend working with Rich.
Name: Becki McClintockAge --29
Sport (hobby) and level of competition (High school, college, etc) --Running (Trail and Road Racing--post collegiate)
Fitness training experience --Had done some lifting before working with you, but mostly just using weight machines in the gym
Sex --Im married, so yes. OH! I mean--uh--female
Length of time as a "client" --You might know better than me, but I think it was about 10-12 weeks. Does that sound right?
What where your preconceptions before you began using my services? --My preconceptions will probably differ from most of your clients, in that I had worked with you for quite a while before you were training me. Thus, I knew that you really knew what you were talking about, had a good base/foundatoin for your knowledge of training, and had a passion for it. Therefore, I trusted that you would know what would/would not work for a distance runner.
What is different (training with me) from gyms and other training facilities you may have utilized? --Do you really want me to answer this one?!? Just kidding :0) In all reality, I had never used an official trainer before--i had just gone to the gym and done my own thing. So having someone guide me with exercises that were running specific was wonderful. In addition it was great having someone to be accountable to and someone there to push and challenge me.
How do you feel about your experiences with me i.e. reaching your goals (short term and long term or both) --I had such a positive experience working with you. Though I dont know if my road racing times got faster (however, with more training time or additional sessions with you Im sure that they would have), but where I noticed the biggest difference was in my trail running/racing. My balance and strength on the hills and rugged trails improved greatly. So i believe that the training we did made me a much stronger runner--and less prone to injuries such as ankle sprains, etc.
What do you like best? --Do you mean in terms of which exercise specifically or what in general throughout the whole training process? I'll answer both! ----specific exercise--hmmmm..not sure, but i liked the different core exercises that we did ----in general, i liked that you were willing to try different things until we found exercises that worked specifically for me and my goals--your training was very individualized
Would you like to share an anecdote? --as i was one of your first clients, i was sort of a guinea pig for some exercises. One that you wanted to try involved tying a theraband around each of my thighs, while you held onto it behind me and wanted me to run with resistance. The first time it worked pretty good. The second time we tried it, the band snapped on both of my legs and i had a nice big welt on each thigh! I think that's when you ordered the belt specifically designed for that exercise!
Would you recommend me to a friend? --would i recommend you as a friend? OF couse, you're a great friend. Oh, would i recommend you TO a friend? Yep, that too. Of course I would. As I mentioned earlier, your knowledge in the field is well established and your passion is of even greater importance. I believe that you will do everything you can to help athletes achieve their greatest potential. In FACT, I think you (and your fam, of course!) should move out here to San Dego, and you can train me again!! what do ya say?!
Hope that all helps! By the way--your website is fantastic. I"m really impressed. If you need any more info, quotes, etc, I am MORE than willing to help you out. I think i'm your biggest fan! (You can even put that on your website if you want :0) )

I had been looking for a personal trainer to help me augment the cardiovascular work I’d been doing, when a physical therapy issue surfaced. Resolving that issue helped me clarify the qualities I needed in a trainer at this time in my life. I wanted to be able to work with someone who has the knowledge and experience to understand and respect my limitations and yet challenge me to improve. Rich not only met my expectations but exceeded them by making working out fun too! In the 6 months we’ve been working together, I have experienced increased muscle tone and strength, have more stamina and feel healthier overall. Another benefit is that I have more energy for my professional work and most important-ly am able to keep up with my 2 yr. old grandson! I look forward to continuing to work with Rich and highly recommend him as a personal trainer.
